Love the picture, all of elements work well – that is seriously tall grass!
“They burn the cane fields at night”, she said and lowered her head.
“I’m sure it doesn’t compare to all the wonderful places you’ve been to this year, but we like it”, she continued.
Kimberley was afraid country New South Wales wouldn’t measure up. What could Lawrence, NSW have to offer compared to Bali, Spain, Colorado, New York and all the other places I’ve been lucky to visit this year?
That was her concern.
Well, as it turned out, Lawrence had a whole heck of a lot to offer.
It’s never about the places.
Always about the people.

What does Lawrence have? One of the most magical moments of light, composition, people and photographer (among other things). That’s what.
They should change Laurence’s name to Awesometown. You’re SO right – it’s always about the people – and you always remind us of that so beautifully Jonas… love this one.

excellent report
“Sorry, but you need to turn around”, I told the driver.
He looked at me in the rearview mirror with raised eyebrows.
“I know I said we were done, but I will hate myself if we don’t get one more. We need one of the car and that…light. Please?”
He sighed and made a u-turn.

Good call.
Incredible. Those little spur-of-the-moment inspirations are some of the best!

Sweet mother of gold! Nice
So good! Your compositions are amazing!
i once saw a beautiful yellow rape-seed field with nice evening light..but i hesitated too long to ask to stop and that moment is gone forever – good thing you didn’t have that same problem – great shot.
Even the before/after shot is awesome!
A mazing…
Gorgeous! Good call! :)
Old car, Beautiful sunset, beautiful couple, no matter what the driver thought, the only way you could have gone wrong was by NOT taking that shot…Good grab on this one Jonas!
Yum.
Where is this shot? Cairns? Heaven? That light, well you know it, its turn around worthy! :)
totally worth it.
That lighting was perfect for them and you that day. Nice captures, Jonas!

My wife, on the other hand …
Great shot. Definitely worth it.

Beautiful image!

You tell that driver who’s boss. Well worth the turn around.
Now that was a moment…
Frickin’ awesome! If you could use just one picture to show your talent I think this would be it.
1 photo is all you need. Dang this is good!
I don’t want to use the word “epic” but it’s all that comes to mind
What a lesson in speaking up and going for it! I just wish that was me and my husband in the photo so I could order a gigantic canvas and put it on my wall:). Thank you for being such an inspiration with your work, it is truly amazing!

Oh dear, my heart just skipped a beat!
This picture takes my breath away!
Wow … wow … why dont we have this light in Sweden!? Amazing Jonas!
Beautiful lighting and I know it sounds weird – but I really like the texture of the mud! Beautiful image.
My breath just caught in my chest. This may be the best wedding image I have ever seen. Wow.
I keep wanting to say something, but then I just want to scroll back up and look at this image again. The words I’m looking for aren’t there. Truly gorgeous. That’s about the best I can come up with, with my lack of eloquence.
Outstanding, beautiful work just stunning.
the light is so good, it actually looks fake. ridiculous.
Wow! It is what we in Sweden would call “strålande”.
WHOA!! What an incredible frame!!!
Amazing!
I swear I just heard harps and angelic voices go off in my head. SERIOUSLY :)
Heaven in Earth…great shot!!
Beautiful!
you’re kidding, right? ridicules =)
This is probably my favorite picture—ever—in the entire world.

Oh Jonas, this is your best EVER! I love it!
Gold, I’m thinking?
Stunning!
Your photography is the most amazing I’ve ever seen. I visit your web daily for inspiration :) Benita
stop teasing us with these amazing previews!
the last 2 frames have a mushy-ness marshmellow-ness around the edge of the dresses. How the heck?
There aren’t many photographers left that really “wow” me. It’s not because I’m a great photographer that I can be such a tough critic, it’s just that I guess I’m just so tired of the “usual” pictures. When I see a photograph like this it really makes me happy, happy to know I can still be “wow-ed”. I literally gasped and put my hand over my forehead when I saw this image. Make that both hands over my forehead and my elbows on my desk too. Thanks for sharing your work Jonas. It makes me happy.
Your awesomeness makes me sick.
dude, what everyone else said.
you.rock.
beautiful
re-fkn-diculous.
Scrumptious!
epic.
black magic. it’s the only explanation.
John and Kim you looked stunning on Saturday and Jonas you have captured them perfectly… a truly beautiful image of a truly gorgeous couple. It was awesome to see you in action Jonas! Amazing work :)
I think I just turned religious :)
The light in this shot is absolutely incredible. So much so that it actually looks, well, fake. If pictures were money, this would be the jackpot!
Fantastic! Love all of your work and your pictures are a huge source of inspiration!
Gorgeous!!!
Did you get the farmer to rotate his field just to get this shot? You continue to amaze me Jonas!!
Amazing. Beautiful. Stunning. Outstanding.

Bra jobbat!:)
Wow! This is amazing. I was there – incredibly beautiful wedding and I’m thrilled they got such a gifted photographer to capture it. Any more pics?
Jonas – holy smokes – amazing light!
Pro.
Aside from the remarkable colors….The detail in that picture is just amazing. The little flowers on the ground, the texture of her dress…. I can even see her coral coloured nail polish…. :)
Great shot! Not a huge fan of either the hyper-clarity look, or over-sharpening, but I can see past it all! Awesome!
ADORATION.
ÅH – läckert! Fantastiskt ljus bakom och framför!
Magical. The diminishing point behind the couple that recedes into the light. Love it.
Jonas, your work is simply beautiful … the way you use the camera and the moments you capture are “fantastico” !!
How?!
Just… how?
