Pooey Lewis and the News

I’m sitting in my bed editing images from the last wedding I shot. In my bed because I’ve come down with a stomach bug extraordinaire. Let’s not get into details, if you know what I mean. I haven’t blogged a wedding in a while and I think it’s time. On Friday I leave for Bali and a wedding there, but I think we’ll be able to get something up here before that. In the meanwhile, here’s one of my favorite images from the wedding I shot in Victor Harbor, SA, earlier this year.

Today I feel very much like the man in the picture.

Old and frail.

April 5, 2009 - 10:41 pm

yuri - Jonas, I absolutely love your work, a huge inspiration, thank you for sharing with us!
Simple question here, how were you able to shoot the bride walking in and then a long isle shot? Were you on roller-skates or she was at a standstill for a few?

Jonas - @ayesha> No, not at all. It’s just a normal photo. All I’ve done is adjust the contrast a little bit. The light was fairly even, so it wasn’t too difficult to capture it like this.

March 25, 2009 - 10:56 pm

March 26, 2009 - 9:13 pm

CliffBarnes - You haven’t thought about making the images available in wallpaper size formats? I’ve seen several that I would like to use as desktop background.
I’m guessing you are worried about the pics being stolen and used elsewhere, but adding watermarks should prevent that.
