{wedding} Chris & Kim – Bowral, NSW

It was one of those days. And I sort of knew it would be when Chris contacted me. So I decided to bring along my good buddy Nirav Patel to add an extra level of awesomeness. This is what we came up with. If you want more details, this wedding was featured beautifully by Once Wed the other day – here and here.

  1. Simply amazing! My favs are definitely the long exposure with the flash at the end. That is how you did those inside dancing and party shots, right? haha

This set has inspired me. Although my style isn’t as “unsaturated” as yours, the creativity in these shots is what caught my eye. I’ll be bookmarking this site for inspiration before an engagement or wedding shoot!

  2. Hi, You have really interesting black and withe pictures. I am wondering what kind of post production you use. I am working in Poland as wedding photographer.

  3. Without doubt the greatest set of wedding images I have ever seen. A good 14 hours graft here. The composition, colour and contrast is exceptional. A photographer at the top of his game and will probably get better. One of the best (photographers) of your country and up there with the best on the planet. I am trying to think of something that I don’t like about it but I can’t.

  5. Just simply awesome. I love all of these, but the last 3 are especially my favorites.

  6. Thank you so much Jonas & Nirav! We knew we were so lucky to have you both shoot our wedding, and these amazing images are more than we could have hoped for. You captured the day, us, our family & friends, just perfectly. We love reliving the day through these images – thanks so much to two of the greatest photographers in the world.

  7. Dear Jonas?
I would like to know if you sincro to first or second curtain in your flash photographies. congratulations and all the best

  8. Fantastiskt fina bröllopsporträtt, av allt jag sett från dig är dehär helt klart bland mina favoriter. Resten av bröllopsbilderna är också magiska. Sjukt bra åter igen Jonas!

  9. <3 I've been following you for quite some time and this wedding is just incredibly gorgeous. I always look forward to your blog posts. Love love love.

  10. Jonas, I literally hang out for each and every one of your posts. So much so that I’ve taken to telling friends your photographs are like ‘wedding porn’. Your images never cease to amaze me and this is no exception. The shot 4th from the bottom is why you really are the best photographer I’ve ever seen. So clever, so thoughtful, so unexpected but simple and emotionally driven. You couldn’t of caught a shot like that without really caring and loving what you were doing at that very moment. And that is what sets you apart from the rest. Well done. Until the next post…A

  11. Soooo 1940’s glamorous. I love the pic on the dance floor where the bride’s hair looks like an updo. Stunning pics as always. Simply divine.

  12. Gorgeous Jonas as usual, it’s very Royal Tenenbaumish. I loved that movie and the images just reminded me.
