jeorgea and aaron ~ sardine lake, california.

These mountains – and the people I met there – did something to me. Jeorgea and Aaron took me in and treated me like an equal, fed me and gave me shelter. My heart felt at home with them, their friends and  families and when i finally had to leave I left part of me behind. This is the story of those days. The story of the mountains. The story of Jeorgea and Aaron.

    A Classic. Well played Jonas.
  2. Theres a real rawness to these photographs, which seems to reflect the landscape – How amazing to get married in these surroundings – so beautiful!

  3. I am absolutely in awe of your work. The lighting and colors are spectacular! Oh to be so unique and creative! I could only dream of one day even coming half as close to the perfection you have created here! Gorgeous gorgeous gorgeous!!!

  4. Jonas, these photographs are beautiful. So moving, you really captured the emotions of the day and not just the people.

  5. When the officiant is hidden in that single “you may kiss the bride” moment and it seems like are the only ones there… so, SO amazing. These are absolutely breathtaking! And I couldn’t help but wish this was actually Blue Valentine without the blues + The Notebook without all the cheese. Thank you for sharing this wonderful selection from the day.

  6. Jonas, once again incredible images. I just can’t get over how i feel like i’m at the wedding when i look through the photos. You really do raise the bar for photographers around the world!!

  7. I Love it !!! I must agree with Gary here … I also can feel you in every image, its awesome ! I feel like Im there, standing in your shoes! Unbelievable !!! If you ever have a workshop in Ireland I would be delighted to meet you :) !!!
Take care and all the best !

  8. I want to get married again, or at least renew our vows. just so I can have you take our pictures and tell our story… I felt like I was there. I feel connected to these people… you are truly gifted for this work… and that is why you are my favorite.

  9. Anybody can take a photograph. I think a lot of people take really good photographs. This is something else. In this day and age where everybody is a photographer this is a breath of fresh air. The photographer is in every photograph – It’s like I can see what you see rather than looking at the same old Facebook wedding photographs that are everywhere.

This really does transcend most wedding photograph. It transcends genre. Beautiful beautiful work Jonas.
