More muzak soon

I’ve run out of sharing bandwidth this month. You must like the music I’ve uploaded. I’ll try and sort it out as soon as possible.

New! Music!

Music is such a big part of my life. I listen to it when I edit photos, when I’m in the car, when I’m walking the beaches looking for something to shoot, you name it, I listen to music all the time.

So, starting today, I thought I’d share some of the music I love, here on the blog. I know this is supposed to be about my photography, but some music can’t hurt, right?

I will pick new music, but also older stuff I think people should love.

So, where do we begin?

Well, for me the album of the year so far is Bon Iver’s “For Emma, Forever Ago”

If you haven’t heard it, you can find some other tracks here. If you scroll down on that page you can actually download a newly released EP for free.

I also want you to hear this from Danish Katrine Ottosen.

I think it’s pretty great.

The infinite sadness

There’s something very wrong about zoos. I know they do good things, but there’s something about the animals. The monkeys look at you with sad eyes through thick glass, often they even face the other way, so they don’t have to look you in the eye.

It feels like they are ashamed.

Or maybe I’m imagining things.

Maybe they’re as happy as happy can be, just waiting for the park to close, so they all can get their samba gear on and party like it’s 1999.

Somehow I doubt it though.
