In November last year, I hosted a workshop in Brisbane together with my good friend, Sean Flanigan. Not only is he an amazing photographer, we also look at life in a similar way. The workshop sold out very quickly, was a huge success, and people have been asking me if we’re ever going to do it again.
So now we are.
We’re hosting the workshop at my studio in Brisbane and it will be two packed days of teaching, talking, sharing, shooting and hanging out. We finish up the second night with an awesome dinner together.
What will we cover?
Well, basically everything. Sean and I have different backgrounds, but we share views on many subjects. We’ll talk about branding, how to stand out in a saturated market, shooting and processing, workflow, how to land international jobs and a whole bunch more. There will also be extended Q & A sessions so that you can get answers to everything you’re after. Sean and I have NO secrets. If there’s anything you want to know, we’ll happily share, down to exactly which settings we use and how we edit our images. There will also be a number of sponsors.
Both Sean and I are thrilled to be doing this again. The last workshop was amazing and I think we all learned a lot from it, not just the attendees.
Price: $1750 AUD. Lunch, snacks, drinks and dinner (last night) included.

Tim Bishop - Hey Jonas, still think it’s weird that two of my favourite photographers that live continents apart are good friends (the world is getting smaller!) and you are also doing a workshop together . This would be ideal for me but alas not this time as I have my young family to look after (was interested to read on RocknRoll Bride how you manage) and the cost to travel. Although if you did a DVD of this I would certainly buy it. Hope one day our paths will cross brother, best of luck with it – Tim
