Ok, so we’re over the hill. 2009 is officially half gone. And what a year it has been so far. I really don’t know where to begin. Almost every week I get to spend a day with a couple on the biggest day of their lives. It’s impossible not to love what I do. I don’t know if my couples think I am, but to me it feels like I’m a member of the wedding party. I feel like the groomsman with a camera. The odd one. Heck, half of the time I feel like one of the bridesmaids. I’m there in the midst of all the love and I feel part of something unique.
Every week.
I struggle in church, I struggle during the speeches. You cry, I cry, everybody cries. In fact it’s a crybaby fiesta every Saturday. Ding dong, here comes the bawling wedding photographer.
Well, here’s to all of you and to all the couples I have yet to shoot this year.
