I’ve traveled the world for the last 8 years. And don’t get me wrong, I love what I do, but I miss having a place to call home. And one place in Australia have always held my heart – Byron Bay. So when we sat down and talked it didn’t take long to decide that moving to this beautiful beach town was the only solution.
And here we are.
The other morning I took a swim on Tallow Beach before my wedding in the Byron Bay Hinterland and I felt it in my heart – I’ve come home.
This is where I belong.
And I can’t wait to shoot more here, so if you’re getting married this or next year, why not consider Byron Bay? The vendors here are amazing, it truly feels like a family coming together every Saturday. Last week I met a marriage celebrant I haven’t spoken to for years. She knew I had just arrived so she grabbed my hand, smiled and said, “welcome home”.
That’s exactly how it feels.

Wow,a wonderful pics!
Really miss seeing your wedding sessions, Jonas!!! Is there any location that you are posting them?
P.S. Trend setter as in, I can’t go back through your blog and pick two weddings alike, from the point of having a vision from start to finish, your editing changes like the tides, you adapt to your point in time, and you bring us something unique, every time.
I hear ya Jonas. Just moved to Byron too…..Magical. Am going to meet Giovanni from Coorabella next week, after my sister went to a crazy ‘Jewellery night’ the other night and had a good chat with him….Your words, on top of the moments you captured there, have made it the next dream. Cheers for the continued inspiration. You are the biggest trend setter I know. Keep rockin.
Wunderful pictures….underbara vackra bilder, kommer till Brisbane i september så kanske en Roadtrip till Byron bay är på sin plats och har du ett bröllop runt den 26 sep där så hojta gärna till, blir gladligen din bärhjälp för dagen :)
