If you follow me on Twitter or Facebook, you have already seen this, but if you haven’t, here it is.
When Crash Taylor, a kick ass wedding photographer in his own right, contacted me about an interview, I was very flattered. Crash has interviewed some of my favourite wedding photographers in the world, so I must admit I was a bit baffled. But hey, my whole life is a bit surreal these days, so I decided to go with the flow. If you’re interested in knowing more about me, read the interview here. It even comes with images. Double whammy.

Always been a fan of Crash living in Nottingham what an acolade! Well done!
Unassuming wedding photography with inspirations from the great documentary tradition from August Sander through Walker Evans to Bruce Gilden.
Congrats on the interview – and great work!

Well done Jonas! (one of your fans)
congratulations on the honour, but let’s face it – I think he is jealous;) great response btw
Killer interview. I’m in the middle of Outliers right now.
I really like his interviews, they are good questions, interesting insight. Love your photography it’s consistently inspiring, beautiful and true!
Dearest Jonas,
You were the first wedding photographer who’s work I truly loved. Fine art met the cheesy industry of wedding photography? You made what I thought was nearly impossible to do sore.
James Nachtwey and Sally Mann are my favorite photographers. And reading that they were some of your favorites in the interview made me so happy. Several years ago, the same professor exposed me to both James Nachtwey’s documentary “War Photographer” and the first bit of Sally Mann slides I had ever seen. Martin Parr would be in my three favorites with them. Some of the humor, story telling, and irony in your photos reminds me of Martin Parr.
I am a loyal follower of your blog and twitter. I am addicted to what you shoot, what you see, and what you say.

p.s. Your pal, Mr. Clausen, is photographing my own wedding next summer!
